We build custom projects to fit what you're trying to do. This one uses solar power to run two household circuits and keep them powered through a grid outage.
Clean power
Six panels produce more than a kilowatt in full sun. That's enough to run two circuits in the house without the utility, and to keep them on when the grid goes down.
Stored power
Three 100 Ah LiFePO4 batteries store the extra power for after dark. Unlike old lead-acid batteries, lithium can use nearly its full capacity.
Charging
Victron Energy equipment charges the batteries from the panels. With built-in Bluetooth, the owner can check the whole system from a phone.
Power to use
An inverter and transfer switch feed selected circuits in the home, which gives the owner backup power during a grid outage.
